Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Voicipher ("we", "us", "our") provides a multilingual voice support agent platform for businesses. Our service lets you embed a voice widget on your website so your customers can speak with an AI assistant in Hindi, English, or other Indian languages.

This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data we collect

From dashboard users (you, the business)

  • Account data — name, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up.
  • Agent configuration — business name, website URL, industry, greeting messages, and escalation settings you enter.
  • Knowledge base content — FAQ pairs, documents, and URLs you upload to train your agent.
  • Billing data — credit balance and transaction history. Payment details are processed directly by Razorpay and never stored on our servers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and browser/device information for product improvement.

From your end users (their visitors)

  • Voice audio — microphone input captured during a voice session. Audio is processed in real time by Sarvam AI for speech-to-text transcription and is not retained after the session ends.
  • Transcripts — a text log of the conversation is stored against an anonymous visitor identifier (e.g. "Visitor #4821"). No name, email, or phone number is collected from visitors unless they voluntarily provide it during a booking flow.
  • Session metadata — call duration, outcome, intent classification, and sentiment score.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the voice agent service.
  • To process credit top-ups and subscriptions via Razorpay.
  • To train and improve your agent's responses based on your knowledge base.
  • To generate analytics and call summaries visible in your dashboard.
  • To send transactional emails (payment receipts, low credit alerts).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data or your visitors' data to third parties. We do not use visitor voice data to train shared AI models.

4. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

5. Data retention

  • Voice audio — not stored. Processed in real time and discarded.
  • Call transcripts and metadata — retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
  • Account data — retained until you delete your account.
  • Billing records — retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated data (except billing records required by law).
  • Export your agent configuration and knowledge base at any time.

7. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies — each tenant can only access their own data. We conduct periodic security reviews and promptly address vulnerabilities.

8. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
